Advice Analytics - May 2022

According to the main digital job portals surveyed by Advice, in May 2022 the demand for work in Uruguay increased, registering 575 more job opportunities than the previous month, which represents an increase of 12%.

 

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the demand for talent by companies increased by 2,383 opportunities, representing an 80% increase.

AREAS WITH THE HIGHEST ACTIVITY

Technology led the generation of job opportunities in Uruguay in the month under analysis with 22% of the total, reaching 1194 opportunities, again, with a new record number of calls.

LOCATION

In terms of geographic distribution, in May 83% of the calls were to Montevideo, 12% to the interior of the country and 4% to Uruguay, without specifying a department.

TYPE OF CONTRACT

In May, according to data calls, labor demand for full-time, open-ended contract proposals accounted for 90% of the total.
