Advice Analytics - April 2022

According to the main digital job portals surveyed by Advice, in April 2022 the demand for jobs in Uruguay was 10% below the previous month's record, with 503 fewer job offers.

 

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the demand for talent by companies increased by 2026 opportunities, which represented a 73% increase.

AREAS WITH THE HIGHEST ACTIVITY

Technology led the generation of job opportunities in Uruguay in the month under analysis with 25% of the total, reaching 1189 opportunities, again, with a new record number of calls. It increased with respect to the previous month 15%, with 153 more proposals and registered 519 more than in the same month of the previous year.

LOCATION

In terms of geographic distribution, in April, 71% of the calls with data corresponded to Montevideo, 17% to the interior of the country and 11% to Uruguay, without specifying department.

TYPE OF CONTRACT

In April, according to data calls, labor demand for full-time, open-ended contract proposals accounted for 79% of the total.
