Advice receives recognition from ONU Women

For supporting and participating in the first edition of the prize THE TALENT DOES NOT HAVE GENDER, which recognizes companies with good practices of organizational gender equality.

Gender equality is key yo the economic growth of companies and countries. The evidence indicates that those companies that promote gender equality have a better work environmnet, greater investment, greater creativity and innovation, attract more talent and have a better image, reputation and prestige. Studies also confirm that companies with greater diversity are more profitable and productive.

In Uruguay, a man with tertiary education earns 24% more than a woman with the same education and work experience. In turn, women dedicate more than twice as much time to work at home as men, compromising women's economic autonomy.

These figures demand the attention and action of those who participate in the economic and social sphere of the countries and for this reason the objectives of the award are to recognize advances of the companies within the scope of gender equality and labor complementarity. In turn, it seeks to encourage good practices, behaviors and business policies that promote gender equality at all levels of the company.
