The following analysis is based on the information generated by the Advice Labor Monitor, which studies the main characteristics of the labor demand in Uruguay. Information from the main job portals is taken as input, with the primary objective of analyzing trends, characteristics and requirements on the demand for talent. The portals analyzed centralize about 90% of the calls published digitally. The sources analyzed are: CompuTrabajo, Trabajo Gallito, BuscoJobs, Linkedin, Google, Hiring Room, Gigajobs and Jobomas.
For the analysis, the following words or set of words were identified in the name and/or description of each call: telework, remote, home office, working home, home working, work from home, work from home, online work, home based job. It is important to note that the proposals that mention any of these terms can be either to work totally from home or partially. All the offers where coincidence was found with these words are assumed to be telework proposals.
The analysis covers all job offers registered between January 2019 and July 2021.
