Labor Market Monitor  - May 2020

In a complex and dynamic context, every day people, companies and institutions, make decisions in the labour market. Providing information on the characteristics, measuring, analyzing and anticipating trends in the labor market is the main objective of the Labor Monitor.

In May 2020, the demand for labor was 58% lower than in the same month of the previous year. This translates into a reduction of approximately 1300 job applications, according to the main labor portals surveyed by Advice.

Compared to the previous month, an increase of 57% in labor demand stands out, which may mean the beginning of the recovery in the labor market, after what was the worst month of performance since Advice's Labor Monitor was conducted.
