Labor Market Monitor - April 2020

In a complex and dynamic context, every day people, companies and institutions, make decisions in the labour market. Providing information on the characteristics, measuring, analyzing and anticipating trends in the labor market is the main objective of the Labor Monitor.

In the month of April, labor demand suffered a 67% year-on-year drop. This translates into a difference of around 1,200 fewer job opportunities between April 2019 and April 2020, according to the main job portals surveyed by Advice.

The crisis caused by the spread of the coronavirus is shaking the labor market and, beyond the fact that it is difficult to quantify the impact it will have at the local level, it is important to monitor the effects it is having on the different sectors of the economy. By opening the report and the data you will be able to obtain more information about the April 2020 Labour Monitor.
